Pleasantly surprised Haas has returned to the mid-pack

I'm up to the third practice session, and Haas is finally looking good. Glad K-Mag is back. Mick finally has a teammate he can learn from, and be judged against.

Albon is at Williams. Probably a team level that reflects his abilities. He's decent, but not a top level driver.

George moved from Williams to Mercedes. I think he will be a driver upgrade. Really talented guy. Lewis is the top driver, but George should be pretty close.

Speaking of Mercedes, they had a suspension issue in the first couple of practice sessions, but they fixed in before the third practice session. Mercedes is back at the top.

Wondered why Vettel wasn't in the field...he had a COVID diagnosis, so he's out this weekend. Hulk is filling in for him.

Looking forward to the first race of this new era of F1.
